About Us
Hi! I’m Farrah! the new owner of My Little Village.
After more than 20 years as a graphic designer and nine wonderful years in the Hudson Valley, I've learned that creativity has the power to bring people together. Following a decade in New York City's creative industry, working in both agency and corporate settings, I developed a deep appreciation for thoughtful, beautiful design.
As a mother of two young girls (5 & 11), I've been introduced to a whole new world of creativity. Through crafting, exploring recycled materials, and creating imaginative activities together. I've seen firsthand how magically simple hands-on experiences can be for young children.
My vision for My Little Village is to create a welcoming space where children can freely explore their imagination, express themselves through art and making, and enjoy immersive experiences that encourage curiosity, play, and connection. It is a space where little minds can flourish, confidence can grow, and creativity is celebrated every day.
At My Little Village, it’s not just about play—it’s about community. Here, children grow through creativity and imagination, and adults find a supportive village of their own.
My Little Village is dedicated to creating a warm, welcoming space where young children can play, imagine, and grow while their caregivers connect and build community. Our mission is to nurture both childhood development and meaningful relationships through creative play, shared experiences, and a sense of belonging for all families.
We’ve all heard the saying,
“It takes a village.”
Let’s build that village together.
— Amanda, Founder of My Little Village
